Humor is not universally funny. Pulling a long string of cheese from your nose while talking to one of your biggest clients doesn’t work for everyone in the room. (Someone has to tell Dale.) The following commercials are funny (our opinion) because the humor began with a broad, funny premise conceived by skilled, full-wit writers who understand that the name, “Mrs. Jenson is not nearly as funny as “Mrs. Neener.” These are the writers who understand that adding the right music can actually make a giggle last a full minute longer.
